Dining Room Shot is a name that I came up with because the target area is past the kitchen. Hitting a shot where the ball would land 2 to 3 feet past the NVZ line would force the opponent into hitting a low volley if they were up and maybe a half volley if they were moving in. It is easier to hit than a drop shot and still effective at most levels of play.
